Humble Warrior Yoga reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions without notice. Any such changes will be posted on this website. Members are encouraged to check this document periodically to stay informed of the current terms of service.

General

  1. In order to attend class at Humble Warrior Yoga, members must:

    (a) Be aged 16 years and above.

    (b) Sign a release and waiver of liability form.

  2. A grace period of 10 minutes applies to class. Members may not be allowed to join the class thereafter.

  3. The studio has the right to turn away any member who fails to comply with the studio’s rules or exhibits improper, offensive, abusive, or endangering behaviour.

  4. In the event that COVID-19 restrictions are tightened and in-studio classes cannot take place, classes may be conducted virtually.

Founding Membership

  1. Founding memberships are non-transferrable.

  2. Founding membership benefits are protected in perpetuity, for as long as the studio is in operation.

  3. Founding memberships may be revoked in the event of non-usage or inactivity. This happens when there is no sign-up for term practice for a period lasting 2 consecutive terms.

Term Practice

  1. Term practice purchase(s) must be paid in full at the time of booking for the spot(s) to be secured.

  2. Term practice purchases are non-shareable and non-transferrable.

  3. The studio has the right to cancel any groups with low sign-up numbers for the term and, instead, offer affected members other groups as an option.

  4. Term practice purchases are non-refundable except for:

    (a) Unforeseen work travels and medical reasons, which deem a member to be unable to practise for a term. Requests for a refund will only be considered before the term begins and must be accompanied by documentation. Refunds will not be possible once the term has commenced.

    (b) When the purchased group is cancelled and the group(s) offered as an alternative is not a good fit. (see item 3)

  5. The amount paid for term practice only covers that particular term. There will be no refund for individual classes missed. It is not possible to attend another class in the same or another term as a make-up session. For each missed session, members have the option to attend a drop-in class within the same term at a nominal fee of $10. In the event that the studio is unable to fulfil certain classes (e.g., the teachers are unwell), replacement classes are first offered, and if these are not a good fit, affected classes will be refunded.

  6. In the event of a refund, the amount refunded will exclude the Stripe processing fees incurred at the time of purchase.

Community event

  1. Being enrolled in the term practice does not guarantee a spot in The Big Practice or Yoga for Mental Health. Space is limited for these classes and booking is required. Credits for booking will be added to each term practice member’s account at the start of the term.

  2. A cancellation notice of 3 days prior to the date of each session is required. A no-show penalty of $25/session applies for each session booked.

Drop-In class

  1. Drop-in class purchases are valid for the current term only. They are non-refundable and cannot be extended.
