Power & Alignment® Workshop: Backbends & Twists
Power & Alignment® is a hatha vinyasa yoga practice that draws from our innate strength to create a harmonious relationship with the whole being. Based on a curriculum approach, Power & Alignment® incorporates a set of essential components, including an embodied practice through specific key alignment principles. These components evoke a mindful and uplifting effect, guiding students towards a “work in.”
This Power & Alignment® workshop focuses on the specific key alignment principles that enhances our understanding of how to work with the body in backbends and twists in a way that is safe and effective.
SESSION 2:

Yin & Restorative Yoga: Same Same, But Different?
On the surface, yin and restorative yoga may seem to be two sides of the same coin. Because both practices are relatively gentler, slower paced and quieter than other dynamic styles of yoga, they are commonly misperceived to be the same and referred to interchangeably. This two-part workshop illuminates the key similarities and differences of yin and restorative yoga through short lectures and full experiential sessions. The restorative yoga segment focuses on Jeremy’s Resting Conversation®.

Based on a curriculum approach, Power & Alignment® incorporates a set of essential components, including an embodied practice through specific key alignment principles. These components evoke a mindful and uplifting effect, guiding students towards a “work in.”
This Power & Alignment® workshop focuses on the specific key alignment principles that enhances our understanding of how to work with the body in forward bends and arm balances in a way that is safe and effective.

Resting Conversation® Workshop: An Antidote for Anxiety & Stress
Resting Conversation® is a practice that focuses on being more and doing less. It has roots in the psychological science of relaxation, principles of Ayurveda, mindfulness practices and restorative yoga. Resting Conversation® teaches deep relaxation and calms the nervous system. The practice builds awareness on where we hold tension and creates fuller and deeper breaths to soften the tension. This workshop focuses on the Resting Conversation® tools used to create conditions for the body and mind to experience deep relaxation as an antidote for anxiety and stress.
